Hi, long time didn’t update here since I come back from UK. This Europe trip is few month pass, but now i only update haha. Ok, lets start brief with Belgium, this is first destination although we reach France at first. France will be count as last destination
.
Port Dover, this is the place that we take ferry from UK to France. This is a damn big ship that can carry many buses and cars.

We are inside the ferry. A small cafe that let passenger sit down and have a cup of coffee. Also inside have tax free shop and restaurant.

On the roof top. I think this the highest floor, deck 9. I really enjoy warm sunshine and cool wind here.

Yeahz, I reached Belgium finally.

Most famous place, Grand Place.

It is a beer festival, everyone in Europe is heavy beer drinker.

I forgot what name is this. You need to touch his body part like head, hand, and other to get different luck.

Manneken Pis. A story behind on this, roughly like this little boy save the town or street by piss on the fire.

Beware he piss on your head … haha. By the way, you can’t get closer on it because it’s fenced.

London by uncle chan
Everybody should be know London, it is capital of England and United Kingdom. London is a nice place that you must visit when you travel to United Kingdom. I went to London for 3 days 2 nights, here are the photos of London.
Me and my friends go to London by National Rail from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston Station. It take around 2 hours to reach London. You can online inside the train and there have table with electric socket so that you don’t have to worry on laptop out of battery.

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. It open to the public on summer July till September. The entry fee is 16.50 pound per adult and 15 pound for student. I paid and go in have a visit, decoration inside very luxury and beautiful. Sorry no picture of inside palace because photography and video recording are not allow.

Buckingham Palace other side view from Buckingham Palace Garden. Buckingham Palace Garden is the largest private garden in London.

11.30am is the time of changing guard. This is one of the tourist attraction at Buckingham Palace. Look at the pictures, full of people.

Guards behind the gate. Do you remember Mr. Bean tease on the guard in one of his TV show ?

London Underground also know as tube is the main transport in London. It can travel to every tourist attraction location and very convenient. Buy the Oyster card is best way when visit in London. The Oyster card is 3 pound deposit and refundable. Top-up the Oyster card and it charge with credit when you travel by London Underground. Every zone have different maximum charge, let say zone 1 maximum charge is 5.30pound, you can travel as much as you like till your Oyster card deduct 5.30pound and it’s no more charge after that.

Don’t forget take the tube map, it available on every station.

Actually there are still a lot of tourist attraction in London such as Tower of London, Madame Tussauds and more but I can’t afford those entry fee. I need save for next trip especially for 2 week Euro trip later.

Wales by uncle chan
I went to north Wales with my friends just after the Scotland trip. Wales also a part of United Kingdom and bordered by England to east. We went to Wales for 1 day trip since we have to return the rental car on the next day. Because short of time, we just chosen three places to visit. First is Conwy Castle, second is Caernarfon Castle and third is South Stack.
First, we going to Conwy. A lot of boat at Conwy.

The smallest house in the Great Britain. Double-storey house some more.

That is Conwy Castle.

How good if you have a boat here.

Conwy town walls.

Conwy town surrounded by town walls.

Conwy Castle.

Inside the Conwy Castle.

View from the Conwy Castle tower.

After Conwy, we going to next destination , Caernarfon.

Caernarfon Castle.

This castle pretty same with the Conwy Castle.

View from one of the Caernarfon Castle tower.

The Prince Charles (Diana’s husband), crowned as Prince of Wales at Caernarfon Castle in 1969.

Third destination, South Stack.

Strong wind and cold here. Beautiful view. I recommend South Stack if you going to north Wales.

Don’t walk too close to the cliff, there no fence covered.

Lighthouse.

Sunset.

Sunset at South Stack.

That’s all for the Wales trip. Short of time but still able to visit 3 places. South Stack is the best among the other two.
After Edinburgh, day 3 of the trip to Scotland, me and my friends continue our journey to the north of Scotland. Raining all the time when we at Scotland
. Our first station is Inverness.

Inverness is not popular with tourist, we just pass here and have a lunch before going to John O’ Groats.

Unknown building at Inverness, probably is a church.

We continue our journey from Inverness to John O’ Groats. It take 3 hours to reach John O’ Groats – the most northerly of Scotland.

On the way to John O’ Groats.

Found a private castle when going to John O’ Groats. Private castle , private horse …. Maybe the owner is nobility , superstar, millionaire etc.

The main entrance to the private castle. Like a movie scenes in some Hollywood movie.

We stop again at an unknown beach which not far away from John O’ Groats. Don’t know why the water are smelly and dirty.

Finally, we reach John O’ Groats ! We realize that no people and no other car here …. oh my god. What a terrible place
. Here like a dead place because we reached here too late already, some more a bit raining. Souvenir & gift shop closed.

Cold and terrible here.

Damn, it just wasting our time to come John O’ Groats for nothing
. At the beginning, we planned sleep inside the car at John O’ Groats. But this place really too terrible so we decided go back Inverness again. 3 hours driving again
.

Next day, day 4 trip of Scotland, we go to Tesco using their toilet for brush teeth and wash face after sleeping 1 night inside the car in a roofed car park. Thank you very much Tesco, because you can found Tesco easily in UK
. Tesco has it own products such as coke , bread and everything else! Include petrol ! Geng !

After Tesco, we go to Urquhart Castle located beside Loch Ness. Loch Ness is a lake, Scotland call it as loch instead of lake or sea inlet.

Urquhart Castle is a ruined castle. As you can see in the picture.

Something like Catapult.

Some view of the castle.

Sit at there and waiting Loch Ness monster – Nessie come out. haha

Beautiful view of Loch Ness from the castle.

Scotland !

Loch Ness, famous on the legendary Loch Ness Monster, also known as “Nessie” “尼斯湖水怪”.
It just hoax
, Nessie is not exist.

Movie based on Loch Ness Monster.

Loch Ness

Loch Ness, view from inside Urquhart Castle.

After visit Urquhart Castle, we going to Fort William.

Fort William. Nothing special here.

A guy and a dog. The dog like a toy
cute.

Fort William.

This little girl earn a lot of money !
. Any way, she is a music talent.

Fort William.

Boat.

Most of the road at Scotland are like this. Narrow and curve. On the way going back Edinburgh.

What a bad day, we can’t find any room at Edinburgh, all the hotel was fully booking. We try our luck by going to Glasgow see whether got room or not. Glasgow is a modern city and the largest city in Scotland. Bridge in Glasgow.

Unfortunately, we still can’t find any room in Glasgow
. Around 1am, we decided go back Liverpool. We can’t find the right way to the highway and trap in Glasgow for half an hour
. We get caught by speeding camera when on the way back to Liverpool
and I’m the driver at that time. We reach Liverpool around 5.30am morning and everybody tired. So, our trip to Scotland ended on day 4, we all rest at Liverpool home on day 5.
Next post is the day 6, we went to north Wales !
