Damn Metrobus, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by uncle chan
If you are road user of Jalan Genting Klang (Kuala Lumpur), or student from TARC (Tunku Abdul Rahman college)/UTAR (University Tunku Abdul Rahman), you must experienced nightmare by the damn Metrobus !
Let see what the damn Metrobus done :
1) Causing heavy traffic jam
Everyday morning on weekday, road users suffer heavy traffic jam on Jalan Genting Klang (Goto Kuala Lumpur city direction will be more suffer), Metrobus will standby or move slowly with occupy one lane of the road for waiting passengers. Metrobus just cause more serious traffic jam on Jalan Genting Klang , if you go through Jalan Genting Klang everyday, you should know more clearly than me. Metrobus also cause TBR (Taman Bunga Raya which is residential beside TARC) traffic jam on TARC’s entrance on morning and evening.
2) Wasting passengers time
There is only one condition to make Metrobus start up is full of passengers. If you get in Metrobus early, then you gonna wait for full house which full until no space to stand. If you rushing time for going college or Wangsa Maju LRT station, don’t take the Metrobus otherwise you will be late.

Metro Bus at Jalan Genting Klang
One more i experienced recently is, Metrobus keep waiting opposite of TARC’s entrance and turning back to UTAR and TARC again to get more passengers until the bus full. My longest time ‘travel’ from TARC to Jalan Genting Klang is 1 hour, ridiculous.
3) Commission first, safety last
Yes, commission make them greedy, they get more commission by taking more passenger so you know why they keeping waiting for passengers. Sardine inside sandwich can be use for describe situation of full passengers inside Metrobus. They not care for safety by exceed the passengers limit, some passengers stand on the staircase and may block driver’s side mirror view.
RapidKL is much better than Metrobus because less waiting time (RapidKL driver paid by fixed salary). Unfortunately, Metrobus is the main bus in Jalan Genting Klang/Wangsa Maju areas compared to RapidKL which less busses than Metrobus. If RapidKL can increase one bus on Jalan Genting Klang/Wangsa Maju every 10-15min (include Utama and Tempatan), definitely can beat the damn Metrobus down.
Please leave comment if you experienced bad services from Metrobus and i like to know whether other areas in Kuala Lumpur has same problem from Metrobus too.
Today i saw a Malay girl , her leg was trapped by the door of Metrobus when door close. The girl scream like hell and ask for the driver open the door but the driver look like dumb ! The door opened after other passengers complaint to the driver. Pity that girl ,I can feel it’s pain on her leg….. Pukima Metrobus
hi there. im glad ive another public transport user online. im a rapidKL user.
the rapidKL also have drawbacks. the spoke-and-hub is lousy. returning from KL to Shah Alam we were dropped at the ‘hub’ and this is where we have to wait like 20mins to 40mins for the bus to take me to section 8, shah alam. this is a waste of time. cus i finish my work at 6pm and reach home 3 hours later. if d govt r serious to improve public transport, don’t make profit out of it.
Today, I travelled on Metero Bus, an Idiot Bus conductor charge me two ringgit for Jinjang to Mile 2 1/2 and when I complained he said “haga Nai” and also they stop the bus on miles 5 to buy “teh tari” for himself and for Bus driver who was smoking.
These two morons driving bus like their own personal car they do not care about public who are late from work… This is our public transport system.
All buses should have fare list in the bus stick to ceiling or windows of the bus this is consumer rights to know the price before commencement.
hate metrobus service .number 49 or191.what the hell they waste passenger time is alrdy bad.last time when i go in to the bus waiting !!!the fucking conduktor talk like a shit with me..ask about my number my name n where i live!!cuz last time i always go home by bus so i need choose their bus go to kota raya or chow kit.after the guy talking like this with me i feel very uncomfatable n no more use their bus service!!he talk what he like n no care i like it or not!!when i siting at the bus.sometime i will take out my note book n write down what i learn”cuz i have study’..that rude guy no care ppl see he n just distrub me outside the window n ask me what i’m doing!!i waiting the bus at chow kit if he saw me he will keep push the bus hon”"bin bin bin”very noisy n just like a person come out from hutan.sometime will call me directly n i feel no face….stay away ppl like this n i’m not his friend.he call like this make me feel no face n many ppl will look at me when he call like this!!shit guy n bad service.i’m a passenger they should take me at the place i want but not talking too much ask about me!!sit in front of me talk with me about his job n more…..until full customer baru he leave the bus!!!what is the bus service???
remember in my mind until today…that day is saturday.just finish shopping at sungai wang.when i wanna go home.i very bad lucky i saw he again.after he saw me coming to take the bus.the guy fast fast ask his friend move the bus.”cuz the bus need to go alrdy.n i just no care n walk quickly but the bus go alrdy!!that fucking guy smile with me n ask me go in to he bus!!!what the fuck.just like a gangster or ppl come out at hutan???do like this also can???all bus is same one but he always want me choose their bus!!!??cuz have comission??very rude people i never see before!!!must becareful especialy 1 person at all time…like me…i very scare when he do like this!!now i no more choose this bus again.if i keep go home with this bus i don know what will happen.i can just ignore it but if he keep distrub me i don know how to do??ur guy maybe have see them before!!is a chinese guy!!the suck guy talking with me is like a malay ppl but actually he is a chinese guy!!suck!!i think many girl also have this problem just no tell everyone nia!!
no 43 also.passenger many india or malay…..all skin is black color!!!last time i don know they don have reach at kepong area.i just go in to the bus!!but i have ask the ticket seller where they stop.that guy don want tell me n just collect my money!!after i know they no stop at kepong area i just fast fast ask them stop the bus!!that ticket seller say to me’where u want to go.now alrdy reach at selayang area u need to pay more 0.50 again!!quick give me now’i have no choice n i just give he !!really bad service.number 100.101.sometime will fight with customer!!!cuz some of passenger will aggure with them about money!!!malay girl ticket seller!!very rude!!
They are noisy, dirty and not road worthy, emit fumes into the atmosphere. Dangerous: the drivers drive at high speed swirving in and out of traffic. They are a terrible sight and do not represent KL in a good light especially to tourists. Modern City – Ancient Metro Bus! They are not worth the money! BOYCOTT METRO BUS!

The metro bus service from tanjong malim to rawang nowadays very very very bad. They moving from tanjong malim to rawang according to their own time and if there is any problem with their time management they never inform their customers who always use their service. Its shows they never bother about their customers.
This problem always happen in the morning and also in the evening. Please be a bit mercy to the workers who depend on their bus service to go to work. The work normally starts in government nor private sectors from 8.00am and and this people always late to work. Their management never accept the reason of “bus late” and their salary got cut off. So what we should do? if we tell our problems to the bus management people they only bother about their promblem no their customers who always depend on their service.
I appreciate when first time this Metro bus service come to tanjong malim wow! man its just good…not to say good but very very good. Every half and hour we will have a bus we never late to work don’t have to wait so long for the bus. But now i do no what happens its become worst and worst from time to time.
Why do we accept this kinda service. This is terrible and obvious the company done care about passengers. Never on time, staff very rude, bus dirty and noisy. Does anyone know de company address?I gonna write n complain!
Are the drivers trained or even hav licence? Crazy driving and very very noisy…..n pollution. STAY AWAY from Metro Bus.
BOYCOTT METRO BUS! USLESS!
I want the contact for the metro bus support, today they bang my friends car on purpose and run, got the bus number and picture. we caught them. dare to show us the middle finger, who do they think they are? really bang on purpose u know…
METROBUS do suck big time. it is mostly boarded by foreigners – Indon and Bangladesh.
I don’t know what we can do.I use Metrobus number 16 everyday to return from work and I face hell. The bus will move slowly to pick passengers and will make long stops to fill up the bus. The conductors are usually bitchy Malay ladies and they seem to speak like Indonesians. I wonder if Metrobus drivers and conductors are Malaysians or not.
The bell in the bus doesn’t work properly and I often have to move to the front and tell the driver to stop. My suggestion will be for RapidKL to take over Metrobus. . The Rapid KL buses are very comfortable to travel in and it has sophisticated features with more space for passengers to stand. The plastic seats are clean with no stains compared to the old filthy Metrobuses
